Code of Conduct

Devshub is a community for builders. We expect all participants to help create a welcoming, safe, and respectful environment—online and in any events associated with Devshub.

This Code of Conduct applies to everyone who uses Devshub: readers, authors, commenters, moderators, sponsors, and team members.

Our Pledge

We pledge to make participation in our community a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, level of experience, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

Our Standards

Examples of behavior that contributes to a positive environment include:

  • Using welcoming and inclusive language.
  • Being respectful of differing viewpoints and experiences.
  • Gracefully accepting constructive criticism.
  • Focusing on what’s best for the community.
  • Showing empathy towards other community members.

Examples of unacceptable behavior by participants include:

  • Harassment, intimidation, or sustained disruption of discussion.
  • Hate speech, discriminatory jokes, or derogatory comments.
  • Sexualized language or imagery and unwelcome sexual attention or advances.
  • Doxxing or publishing private information without explicit permission.
  • Encouraging or glorifying violence or self-harm.

Enforcement

Violations may be reported by contacting the team. Reports will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly.

Moderators have the right and responsibility to remove comments or contributions that are not aligned with this Code of Conduct, and to temporarily or permanently ban participants for other behaviors that they deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.
